Ravens in sky
Priests beneath it
And I - between them
In a pale shirt fitted.
I lie in vastness
So fair, so light now
And the sun is much older;
The wind is much younger.
They sang me off in the temple so hazy,
A Bride I was; a beauteous lady,
My spirit before me was standing and singing,
But people stood blindly;
At body kept blinking.
The fate and the prayer switched places so strangely;
My beloved one was silent, 'neath candlelight standing,
The waves of light had barely lit him.
I forgave him all. I have always forgiven.
The Spring had shivered from mourning of bells,
Three shimmering drops fell on ikon's bleak face
which peacefully rested 'neath blighted pale hands;
It was being kissed now with a tongue of red flames.
The candlelight died and the thurible waved,
The earth moaning sadly soon turned into grave,
I left for the skies, after wind I had run,
At freedom I flew; a white bird I've become...

Handcuffed behind the back close-up
If you love handcuffs behind the back, in arresting positions, and really good CLOSE-UPS, enjoy my shares. Handcuffs, ropes, even NO bondage; I only focus on women's hands shown behind "PALMS OPEN,"
and showing more femininity. None of this tied "PALMS TOGETHER. Prayer position" nonsense. where is the fun in that? 🤷

Mirrored
Where once the spirit did decline, It found no way to move ahead, The obstacles once bent, align And lead our heroine instead Onwards to a clearer place Where one can move at measured pace Not breakneck speed in panic's thrall Walk steady, strong, not falter - fall, She strides through that which render weak The bravest souls who conquer death And dares to face her foes and speak - "I'll never quell another breath, For I am not your enemy You merely see yourself in me."

your voice smokes thru the oaken bramble
pour a carbonated apology, a sun-stained
mile marked envelope, two ill-fitted birds,
hands small holes right before a rush of river
what it feels like being swallowed from the outside
crushing rings into truth serum, pretend
to be out of tune with that deception
I have been unable to parse my own persona
a pink cotton voice I remember thru the phone
I remember because it formed me into a granary
one crop after another of patriarchal idioms
whisper my secrets so softly into a glint of red hair
a saucer-eyed lace pattern cut into pine paper
I practice radical self lo
Literature
If I could be anything
If I could be anything, I’d be
A bitter old woman
Who has known true pain
And lets the wisdom of hurt
Pour out her old, bony fingers
And bitter old me would be
Hurt deeply by the
Shadows of old lingering things
Like stains on faded curtains
That’d rise up around me
Cynical, lonely elderly me will have
Passed the milestones
That one meets every 10 years or so
She’ll be stagnant, but she’ll have them
Under the belt, out of the way
And lonely, bitter old me
Will sit in her chair in the evenings
Thinking in the fading light:
If I could be anything, I’d be
A naïve young girl
Who has known only

This is originally a song by a Russian band "DDT" ("ДДТ") named "Ravens" ("Вороны") which is sung in Russian. However I felt a strong urge to translate this into English and thus challenge myself to try something new Here's the song [link]
Note: I didn't translate the last verse as I felt that this way the ending seems more complete.

Ohhhh, I'm SO EXITED! I didn't even think that somebody will translate this great song. It often makes me cry sometimes at the end. Thank you. Just thank you.
